This post features student writing.

Over the last three days we have been spending our time meeting each other in the beautiful islands of Fiji. The group has gotten along very well so far, and we are excited to get even closer.

We arrived at 5:00 A.M. on Saturday and spent a full day doing orientation and talking about our goals for the trip. Everyone got to bed early so we could refresh ourselves for Sunday. On Sunday, we went to the Garden of the Sleeping Giant, the largest Hindu temple outside of India, and to a hot spring. Everyone loved our guide, Nazil, who is a huge fan of Shakira.

On Sunday night we watched a fire show at our resort and everyone played pool together. A bunch of us got up to participate in the Fijian dance too!

Today we woke up early and went scuba diving and snorkeling. Then we hung out at the pool and beach together and just vibed.

We are very excited for the rest of our time in Fiji.
