Hi everyone!

We have just arrived in New Zealand! We spent the second night of our journey at a marae (the community hall of the Maori in the area) and learned all about Maori culture. There was a Maori welcoming ceremony as well as a language lesson. In the morning we headed to Oamaru, where the whole group met their homestay families!

Since the students are now with their homestay families, we will not be posting for a couple of days. Stay tuned, though, because a couple of students will give accounts of what they did during their stay with New Zealand families 🙂
